A few weeks ago, a local farmer faced a tough situation when a ewe rejected her newborn twin lambs. Sadly, one didn’t survive — but the other, now named Agnes, has found a new home at the BPC Ag plot. Our students have stepped up in a big way, bottle-feeding and caring for Agnes daily — some have even taken her home overnight to make sure she gets the love and support she needs. CAREERS BREAKFAST On Wednesday morning, despite the wild weather, we welcomed back a group of incredible Bede Polding alumni for our Term 2 Careers Breakfast. 🐔 Exciting news from the BPC Ag Plot! After the 2024 Avian Influenza outbreak, our old chook house was removed, and the team got to work building a brand-new poultry facility — and it’s nearly complete! 🛠️ Designed and built by staff and senior Ag students, the new setup includes a concrete slab, brick dwarf walls, timber framing, layer boxes, and an automated door for our new hens who arrived last Thursday. 🐣 Huge thanks to the incredible team who made it happen: Mr Heath, Mr Fisher, Miss Bracks, Mr Merlino, Mr Leighton, Miss Connor, Miss Lans & Mr McNally 👏 #bedepoldingcollege #southwindsor #blighparknsw #CSPD

Our Year 12 students explored their futures at the Western Sydney Careers Expo at Sydney Olympic Park! They connected with over 100 exhibitors, including universities, colleges, apprenticeship providers and employers — gaining valuable insights into life beyond school. Students also attended expert-led seminars on English and Maths (from actual HSC markers!), career pathways, study tips, and key info from UAC and NESA.
